In the gaze of the Other, I disappear.

KonvulziJA stages Jacques Lacan’s theory of the Other through a surreal encounter between two physically similar figures, two manifestations of the same subject. Through their relationship, the film evokes the split that emerges at the moment the self is constituted through the gaze of the Other. Identity is presented as an unstable reflection, an image that simultaneously forms and dissolves before its own mirror.
